Reindeer Christmas Ornament: Personalized Keepsake

This ornament makes a great keepsake for your child/children.  This one is for them to paint the bottom layer to make it completely their own.  It’s meant to be something they can make today and keep for many years.  Imagine the memories they will have each year when hanging the ornament, “I remember when…..”.

Some people have used handprints or foot prints for decorating to have a keepsake of tiny hands and feet to look back on over the years.

This would also be perfect for crafting parties with friends.

I have taken out all the work of ensuring this is “paint ready” for your crafting project.  You will not need to sand or prime anything.  The only thing you will need is paint for the nose and the bottom layer (the antler portion).  You will not need to paint the top layer (name portion), as I have already applied a finish coat of paint to avoid possible breaking of the delicate letters in the name.

This product is made from solid, Marine Grade/BB Baltic Birch, it is safe for all areas indoors and outdoors.  This is NOT wood from the “big box stores”!

This ornament is made with 2 layers of 1/8 solid, Marine Grade/BB Baltic Birch.  Once sealed, it can be used indoors or outdoors.  It will last for a very long time.

The top layer of the ornament, (the name layer) has been sanded and fully painted with a final finish of white satin paint.  The back of this layer had permanent, double sided sticky tape to allow you to place the name layer to the bottom layer without the use of messy glue. 

The nose has been sanded, primer filled, sanded, and a final coat of primer so it is paint ready for the color of your choice.  The back of the nose also has permanent double sided sticky tape for you to place the finished nose on the ornament. 

The bottom layer (the antler layer) has been sanded, primer filled, sanded, and a final coat of primer, front and back, so it is paint ready for the color of your choice.  This layer DOES NOT have sticky tape on either side.

This ornament comes with the following items:

Dimensions are approximately 6.04 inches tall, and 5.146 inches wide; 1/4” depth.

Please keep names to a maximum of 8 characters.  For longer names, nicknames work great, too!  Please be sure to have the name spelled exactly as you would like for it to appear.  Please add the name to your order notes.

Please allow 5-7 business days for me to complete your personalized ornament.  I will need to allow the finish coat of paint ample time to dry appropriately before mailing.

***To prevent potential damage when hanging the ornament, please do not hang it in a place where it can swing into other things.  It should be securely hung to prevent the ornament from falling.
